Wayne M. Sargent Jr.

Wayne M. Sargent Jr., age 48, of Marlborough, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 25, 2023.  He was the loving husband of Melissa A. (O’Hare) Sargent.

Wayne was born in Lawrence, Massachusetts on July 29, 1974, to Linda (Papillon) Sargent and the late Wayne M. Sargent Sr. He was raised and educated in Lawrence.  Wayne and Melissa married on September 30, 2006. 

Wayne worked as a truck driver for many years.

Family was most important to Wayne.  He cherished spending time with his son Ethan, his family and close friends.  Wayne and Ethan enjoyed playing video games together.  He was an avid New England sports fan and followed the Bruins, Red Sox, Celtics and Patriots.  Wayne also enjoyed listening to music.

Wayne is survived by his wife, Melissa A. Sargent of Marlborough, MA; his son, Ethan M. Sargent of Marlborough, MA; his mother, Linda Sargent of NH; his sisters, Mary Sargent of Gardner, MA; Lisa Sargent of Marlborough, MA; and many nieces and nephews. 

His graveside service will be celebrated on Thursday, June 15, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at Glenwood Cemetery 260 Great Road, Maynard MA 01754.
