Victor Oskirko Jr.

Victor Oskirko Jr., 94, of Maynard, loving husband of the late Priscilla (Maguire) Oskirko, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 15, 2023.

He was born in Maynard, Massachusetts on April 4, 1929, son of the late Victor and Helen (Beskalo) Oskirko. Victor graduated from Maynard High School in 1943, where he played football and basketball. He enlisted in the United States Navy and proudly served his country from 1948 – 1951 during the Korean War.

 Victor worked for General Radio for many years as an Electronic Technician, retiring in 1981. He also worked for Butternut Farm Golf Club upon retirement.

Victor and Priscilla enjoyed building houses as a side business. They made a great team. Victor was the builder and Priscilla was the painter. Victor enjoyed watching sports and was an avid Red Sox fan. He took great pride in maintaining his lawn at his home. Victor and Priscilla loved to travel especially to New Zealand and Bermuda.

Victor is survived by his daughter and spouse, Cathy Doran and Mark Doran; his two sons and their spouses, John and Christine Oskirko, and Bill and Dawne Oskirko; and his grandchildren; Emily, Mathew, Sarah, Amy, Zack, Jake, Luke, and Kate. Victor was predeceased by his brothers Peter and Walter Oskirko.

Following his wishes, services were private. May he rest in peace.
