Thomas O. Moore Jr., 83, died peacefully on September 18, 2018. He was the loving husband of Marcia (Hodgdon) Moore.
He was born February 10, 1935 in San Francisco, California to the late Thomas O. and Christina A. (Johnson) Moore. Tom proudly served in the United Sates Army.
Tom spent 23 years working for Rykoff-Sexton, selling restaurant equipment and supplies and was one of the top-sales persons for many of those years. He took an early retirement to care for his aging mother in Arizona.
Tom and Marcia met in 1996 in Arizona, each had two children. The couple enjoyed golfing together. They moved to New England in December of 2000. Tom was an avid sports fan and enjoyed following the Red Sox and Patriots, never giving up on San Francisco 49ers.
Creative birdhouses were a passion of his. As fast as he finished them he would gift them.
He is survived by his loving wife Marcia Moore of Maynard, MA; his brother Wayne W. Moore of Portland, Oregon; his daughter Lynda and husband Shannon Terry of Fresno, California; his son Thomas W. and wife Karen Moore of Modesto, California; step children Susan E. & Dianna Landers of Maynard, MA and John R. and Kerri Helliwell of Sudbury, MA; and his ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
