Susan A. Mason

Susan A. Mason, age 61, of Maynard, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 17, 2025.

Susan was born in Concord, Massachusetts on November 25, 1963, daughter of the late Sidney H. and Susan M. (Boccabello) Mason. She was raised and educated in Maynard, graduating from Assabet Valley Regional Technical High School, class of 1981. Susan continued her education at Fisher College, earning her Associate of Science, class of 1988.

Susan worked as a bank teller for Middlesex Saving Bank for many years.

Family was most important to Susan. She had a soft spot for dogs. Susan enjoyed training and grooming dogs.

Susan is survived by her siblings, Linda S. Davis of Hudson, MA; Richard S. Mason of Maynard, MA; Jack A. Mason and wife Jeanmarie of Reidsville, NC; her nieces and nephews, Timothy and wife Sunshine, Edward and wife Kristen and children Madison, Sydney, and Avery, Richard and wife Daryl and children Darcy and Reed, Robert and partner Ana and children Gavin and Drew, Douglas and wife Heather and Children Madison and Reece, daughter Isabelle. Cherie Mason, Melissa and partner Timothy Callahan and child Amy, Crystal and husband Ronileau Cyril and child Jaelene.

Family and friends will gather to honor and remember Susan on Sunday, June 29, 2025, from 4:00 p.m.- 7:00 p.m. at the Fowler-Kennedy Funeral Home, 42 Concord Street, Maynard. Susan’s Funeral Service will be celebrated on Monday, June 30, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at the Fowler-Kennedy Funeral Home, 42 Concord Street, Maynard. Burial will follow at Glenwood Cemetery, 260 Great Road, Maynard, MA 01754.
