Steven C. Hartwell

Steven C. Hartwell, age, 66 of Stow, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 8, 2025.

Steven was born in Concord, Massachusetts, on December 16, 1958, son of Anita (Comeau) Dolan. He was raised and educated in Acton, graduating from Acton-Boxborough Regional High School, class of 1976.

Steven started working for ABC Septic after high school. He later started Hartwell Stow Excavation in 2000.

Steven enjoyed traveling in his motorhome. He had a passion for motorcycles and restoring old cars and trucks.

Steven is survived by his daughter, Samantha Lynn of Boston, MA; mother, Anita Dolan of Maynard, MA; his siblings, Scott Hartwell and wife Marcia of Stow, MA; Charles Hartwell and wife Cheryl of Maynard, MA; Richard Dolan III of Stow, MA; his partner, Brenda Waldron of Stow, MA; his three grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Steven was predeceased by his daughters, Kristy Hartwell, Elizabeth Hartwell and Courtney Hartwell.

Family and friends will gather to honor and remember Steven on Saturday, June 7, 2025, from 9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. at the Fowler-Kennedy Funeral Home, 42 Concord Street, Maynard. Steven's Graveside Service will be celebrated at the conclusion of the visitation at 12:00 p.m. at Mount Hope Cemetery 166 Central Street, Acton, MA 01720.
