Stephen D. “Mailman” Arinella, age 73, of Maynard, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 28, 2024. He was the loving husband of Pauline (Metivier) Arinella. (Together 51 years)
Stephen was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts on February 6, 1951, to the late Anthony and Adella (Burbul) Arinella. He was raised and educated in Cambridge, graduating from Cambridge High and Latin, class of 1968. Upon graduation, Stephen enlisted in the United States Army and proudly served his country during the Vietnam War. Stephen and Pauline married on September 15, 1979, and settled in Maynard.
Stephen worked 21 years as Head of Security at Honeywell/Bull and then worked 22 years at the United States Postal Service where he retired.
Stephen enjoyed hunting and traveling throughout New England. He was a lifetime member of the Maynard Rod and Gun Club, Maynard-Clinton Lodge of Elks, #1568, American Legion, Vietnam Veterans of America, VFW and NRA.
Stephen is survived by his wife, Pauline Arinella of Maynard, MA. Stephen was predeceased by his brothers James "Jimmy" Arinella and George Arinella.
