Ryan Jacob Heye

Ryan Heye, 26, of Quincy MA passed away on November 10, 2023.  He is survived by his parents, Chris and Wendy, his sister Kellie and his brother Colin. He also leaves behind his devoted girlfriend Annie.  Ryan moved to Sudbury MA with his family in 2007.  Upon graduation from Lincoln-Sudbury High School, he became a United States Marine, fulfilling his life-long dream of serving others.   He was a self-taught musician, a loving dog-dad, and a passionate outdoorsman.  He loved sharing that passion with others through his work at REI and his affiliation with the American Mountain Guides.  He will be remembered for his sense of humor, his creative energy, and his authentic warmth and kindness.  As a registered organ donor, in his passing Ryan was able to help save the lives of others.  His spirit will live on through those organ recipients, which is a comfort to all who knew him.  A celebration of his life will be held on Sunday, December 10^th from 3-6 pm at Sanctuary in Maynard (82 Main Street).  In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to the Sudbury For Wounded Warriors (Sudburyforwoundedwarriors.org)
