Rose C. (Buscemi) Morash

Rose C. (Buscemi) Morash, age 86 of Hudson, formerly of Maynard, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 5, 2022.

Rose was born in Maynard, Massachusetts on January 30, 1936, the daughter of the late Joseph and Lena (Mattina) Buscemi. She was raised and educated in Maynard, class of 1954. 

Rose worked for Data Terminal Equipment for many years in customer service support, retiring in 2001.

Rose loved spending time at the beach with friends and family.  She cherished traveling to Maine to visit her brother.  Rose enjoyed Skiing in Vermont, especially Killington Mountain.  She also enjoyed shopping with her sister Joann.  

She is survived by her children, Robert H. Morash and wife Ying of Quincy, MA; David A. Morash of Westbrook, ME; Joanne T. Johnson and partner Tom McIlhatten of Stow, MA; Brother, Vin Buscemi of Palm Bay FL; Brother, Joe Buscemi and wife Chris of Wells, ME; Sister, Jo-anne Doughtry of Shrewsbury, MA; her granddaughter, Jessica Johnson and great-grandchildren, Rose and Arthur.  She was predeceased by her son-in-law, Carl Johnson and grandson, Neil Johnson.

Family and friends will gather to honor and remember Rose on Friday, November 18, 2022, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Fowler-Kennedy Funeral Home, 42 Concord Street, Maynard. Burial will be private.
