Rose M. (Salvador) Burke

Rose M. (Salvador) Burke, age 80, of Stow, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 8, 2023.  She was the loving wife of Richard P. Burke for 62 years.

Rose was born in Boston, Massachusetts on September 25, 1942, the daughter of the late Frank and Robina (Howard) Salvador.  She was raised and educated in Boston.  Rose and Richard married on April 8, 1961. 

Rose worked for the Hypertronics Corporation for thirty years, retiring in 2008. 

Family was most important to Rose.  She cherished time spent with family and friends.  Rose was an avid Bingo player.  She enjoyed traveling, especially cruises.  

Rose is survived by her husband, Richard P. Burke of Stow, MA; her children, Linda Vierkant and husband Kurt of Stow, MA; Sandra Chesterman and husband Dave of Livermore, CA; Stephen Burke and wife June of Honolulu, HI; David Burke and wife Deanna of Holly Springs, NC; 11 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her six sisters and granddaughter, Kristina Chesterman. 

Family and friends will gather to honor and remember Rose on Monday, April 17, 2023, from 3:00 - 6:00 pm at the Fowler Kennedy Funeral Home, 42 Concord Street, Maynard, MA.
