Robert F. "Bob" Lowney

Robert F. "Bob" Lowney, age 83, formerly of Maynard, passed away peacefully after battling a brief illness on Monday, December 16, 2019.

Robert was born in Marlborough, Massachusetts on August 29, 1936. He was the son of the late George and Doris A. (Wakefield) Lowney. Raised and educated in Maynard, Bob graduated from Maynard High School. Upon graduation Bob proudly enlisted in the United States Army and served his country. After serving in the Army he worked for Agway and Digital Equipment Corporation. Robert truly had a love for Maynard as most of his life's memories were made there.

He is survived by several cousins.

Family and friends will gather to honor and remember Bob on Friday, December 20, 2019 from 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. at the Fowler-Kennedy Funeral Home, 42 Concord Street, Maynard. His funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Fowler-Kennedy Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Saint Bridget Cemetery, Maynard.
