Robert P. Fleming Jr.

Robert P. Fleming Jr., age 68, of Maynard, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 1, 2025. He was the loving husband of Sally M. (Murphy) Fleming.

Born in Stow, Massachusetts on January 4, 1957, son of Dorothy A. (Ferry) Fleming and the late Robert P. Fleming Sr. Robert was raised and educated in Stow, graduating from Nashoba Regional High School, class of 1975. Robert and Sally married on February 11, 1979, and settled in Maynard to raise their growing family.

Robert worked as a Butcher at the Maynard Meat Market and Roche Bros. for over forty years.

Family was most important to Robert. He cherished time spent with his grandchildren and his German shepherds. Robert enjoyed fishing, grilling and playing cribbage. Robert also enjoyed watching wrestling and listening to music especially Bob Seger.

Robert is survived by his wife, Sally M. Fleming of Maynard, MA; his mother, Dorothy A. Fleming of Laconia, NH; his children, Erica Hartwell and partner Mark Santon of Clinton, MA; Amanda Fleming and partner Donald Blakie of Nashua, NH; Melinda Fleming-Marks and partner Griffin Marks of Berlin, MA; his cherished grandchildren Kaleb, Aiden, Harper and Abby; his niece and nephews Melissa and Brian Murphy, Justin King, his sisters, Susan Fleming of Laconia, NH; Laurie Stinson of Sterling, MA. Robert was predeceased by his sister, Cindy Fleming.

A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
