Neil E. Niemi

Neil E. Niemi, age 48, of Maynard, died on Monday, February 27, 2023.

Neil was born in Concord, Massachusetts on June 12, 1974, to Joan M. (Clausen) and the late Meldon E. Niemi.  He was raised and educated in Maynard. Neil graduated from Assabet Valley Regional Technical High School, class of 1994.  Upon graduation, Neil enlisted in the United States Army and proudly served his country.

Neil is survived by his son, Daniel E. Niemi and wife Aurora Ciancio of Valencia, Italy: his mother, Joan M. Niemi of Maynard, MA; his brother, Wayne E. Niemi of Maynard, MA and his partner, Gail Sawyer of Acton, MA.

His memorial service will be celebrated on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John Lutheran Church, ELCA, 16 Great Road, Sudbury MA 01776
