Nancy J. (Jimjimian) Gorman

Nancy J. (Jimjimian) Gorman, age 73, of Maynard, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 4, 2022 at Tufts Medical Center in Boston.  She was the loving wife of the late Richard E. “Dickie” Gorman.

Nancy was born in Boston on January 30, 1949, the daughter of the late James and Mary (Mezian) Jimjimian.  She was raised and educated in Waltham, MA, graduating from Waltham High School in 1966.  Nancy and Dickie married on July 29, 1972 and settled in Maynard where they raised their family.

Family was most important to Nancy. She loved spending time with her two granddaughter’s, Sydney and Olivia.  She enjoyed her winters spent in Tarpon Springs, Florida.  Nancy enjoyed good company and good food, especially pizza, sushi and ice tea.  She loved her dog Bella and time they spent together watching Judge Judy. 

She is survived by her two sons, David Gorman of Maynard, MA; Mark Gorman and wife Kim of Ayer, MA; her two cherished granddaughters, Sydney Chayse and Olivia Louise; her sister, Diane Hussey and husband Rich of Pepperell, MA; her nephew, Dan Hussey; her two close friends, Janice and Patti.  She was predeceased by her daughter, Susan Gorman and daughter-in-law, Tamara Gorman.   

Family and friends will gather to honor and remember Nancy on Friday, July 8, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. at the Fowler-Kennedy Funeral Home, 42 Concord Street, Maynard.  Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, July 8, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Bridget’s Parish, One Percival Street, Maynard. Burial will follow at Glenwood Cemetery in Maynard.
