Monica R. "Mon" (Sullivan) Duffey

Monica "Mon" R.(Sullivan) Duffey age 55 of Maynard, MA passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on March 15, 2016. She was the beloved wife of John Duffey.

Born in Arlington, MA on August 26, 1960 she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Helen (Pappas) Sullivan. Mon grew up in Arlington and was a member of the first graduating class of Minuteman Career and Technical High School class of 1978.

Mon enjoyed spending time with family, gardening, cooking, taking walks outdoors, reading, the Patriots and the Red Sox, and early morning boat rides with John on Lake Winnipesaukee.

Mon worked for AECOM for over 20 years.

Mon and John were high school sweethearts and married on September 14, 1985. Along with her loving husband John she is survived by their two sons, Christopher J. and Marc M. both of Maynard, sisters Cathleen Brink of Oklahoma, Patricia Mottla of Burlington, Sheila Conway of Acton, ME, and Angela Sullivan of Salem.

Family and friends will gather to honor and remember Mon on Thursday March 24 from 4:00-8:00 PM in the Fowler-Kennedy Funeral Home, 42 Concord Street, Maynard. Services and burial will be private.
