Michael J. Atwood

Michael (Mike) Atwood formally of Maynard MA tragically passed away Monday October 27, 2025, from injuries sustained as a result of a pedestrian accident with a motor vehicle.

Mike leaves behind his beloved son Kyle Atwood.

He was the son of Alice (Potter) Atwood and Steven W. Atwood who presently reside in York Maine. He was the brother to Melissa (Atwood) Bergman and her husband Daren along with their children and brother to Steven W. Atwood Jr. and his wife Sarah (Hammer) and their children.

Mike worked for various landscaping companies as a skilled, self-taught mason and left his creative mark on many walkways, walls and fireplaces. He loved his family deeply. He loved being outside in the fresh air and anything that was fast.

Services for those who wish to pay their respects will be held at Fowler Kennedy Funeral Home 42 Concord Street, Maynard on Saturday, November 15, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. A private family service will be held prior to the visitation. A private burial will take place at a later date.
