Margaret (Puleo) Senecal

Margaret (Puleo) Senecal, age 95 of Rotonda West, FL, formerly of Maynard, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 8, 2017. She was the loving wife of the late Howard J. Senecal.

Born in Maynard, MA on March 3, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Placido and Gaitanna (Broccio) Puleo. Margaret was raised and educated in Maynard. She worked for Digital Equipment Corporation as a Drafter, working closely with the engineers, for thirty years.

Margaret loved to travel, some of her favorite trips included her vacations to Italy and Hawaii. Her favorite pastime was shopping. She loved clothes and jewelry. Margaret was also always up to checking out new restaurants, especially on her Sunday "mystery rides" with her daughter and son-in-law.

She is survived by her daughter Judith (Scandariato) Hanson and husband John Hanson, with whom she lived with for the past 11 years.

She leaves three grandchildren Michael White of Dudley, MA, Vicky White of Uxbridge, MA and Andrew White of Paradise Valley, AZ; three great-grandchildren Michael White, Anthony White and Lucian White. She also leaves several nieces, nephews and cousins. Margaret was predeceased by her sister Josephine Spinazzola, and three brothers Antonio, Nicholas and Frank Puleo.

Family and friends will gather to honor and remember Margaret on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the Fowler-Kennedy Funeral Home, 42 Concord Street, Maynard. Funeral Mass Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Bridget's Parish, 1 Percival St, Maynard, MA, followed by burial at St. Bridget's Cemetery, Maynard.
