Louis W. Currier

Louis W. Currier, age 80, of Maynard passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 13, 2023.  He was the loving husband of the late Sally (Boeske) Currier.

Louis was born in Old Town, Maine on December 21, 1942, son of the late Louis I. and Blanche Y. (Shorette) Currier.   He was raised and educated in Old Town, Maine, and later relocated to the Boston area to attend Wentworth Institute.  Upon retiring from Sperry and Raytheon, Louis worked at Valley Sports where he drove the Zamboni. 

He was a proud grandfather to Alyssa and Megan Ray and Bryce, Nolan and Calleigh Currier.  In addition to his grandchildren, he leaves his daughter Sharon Ray and her husband Paul and his son Marc and his wife Kathleen of Maynard.  Louis was predeceased by his sister Mae (Currier) Rossignol of Old Town, ME.   

Family and friends will gather to honor and remember Louis on Monday, December 18, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p. m. at the Fowler-Kennedy Funeral Home, 42 Concord Street, Maynard. Burial will be private.   Casual attire is encouraged at his request.
