Keith H. Olsen

December 19, 1958 — February 19, 2021

Keith H. Olsen, age 62 of Maynard, passed away suddenly on Friday, February 19, 2021 at his home. Husband of Jeanne M. (Ciervo) Olsen.

Born in Concord, Massachusetts, on December 19, 1958, Keith was the son of the late Kenneth Norman and Marlys Rae (Wood) Olsen. Raised and educated in Maynard, Keith graduated from Maynard High School, class of 1978. He went on to study Missions at Baptist Bible College East, and went on to serve God for many years after that by sharing the gospel of Jesus and leading many people to the Lord, helping people who were in need. Keith was a proud veteran of both the Army and the Air Force. Having grown up in a military family he had a strong love for God, his family and our country.

Keith worked in the automotive field in the Maynard and Concord area and was a great mechanic.

He was a great friend to many people and loved to share with others. He was always looking out for his friends and family. He was well known for his random acts of kindness.

Keith loved bicycles, motorcycles, cars, working out and music. He had many talents, and he always went big in whatever he was doing, especially when it came to love. He began his body building endeavors at Pep's Gym, like a second home to him, throughout the 1970s in Maynard and continued working out all of his life. Keith was known for drumming for a wide variety of bands and being heavily involved in anything to do with music. In his younger years, he raced motocross in Pepperell and always had talked about his favorite bultaco motorcycle.

Keith is survived by his wife, Jeanne Olsen of Athol; his children, Brandon MacGillivary of Auburn; Kenneth Olsen and wife Caitlin of Leominster; Aaron Olsen of Athol; Selma Olsen of Orange; Kyle Olsen of Athol; his siblings, Kevin Olson and wife Debbie of Douglas; Kim Hood of Brunswick, GA; Kris Olsen of St. George, SC; his five grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Due to the current restrictions, Keith's visitation and burial at Glenwood Cemetery will be private.
