Keith E. Mercer

Keith E. Mercer, age 60, of Maynard, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 15, 2024.  He was the loving husband of Deborah A. (McCann) Mercer. 

Keith was born in Winchester, Massachusetts on August 28, 1963, to Judith A. (Ghirardini) Mercer and the late Edwin A. Mercer.  He was raised and educated in Concord, graduating from Concord-Carlisle High School, class of 1982.  Keith and Deborah married on April 30, 1988.  

Keith had a passion for working with his hands.  He was a finish carpenter for many years. 

Keith enjoyed fishing and spending time at Wallis Sands Beach, Rye NH.  He cherished time spent with family and friends and especially his beloved dog Grace.  Keith was an avid Boston Bruins fan.  He had a very good sense of humor and quick wit.  He was an Elk for 32 years. Always ready to lend a helping hand whenever needed. Earning him Officer of the Year 2019-2020. 

Keith is survived by his wife, Deborah A. Mercer of Maynard, MA; his son, Andrew Ryan Mercer of Littleton, MA; his mother, Judith A. Mercer and partner Phil Rackley of Lincoln, NH; his brother, Paul Mercer of Wells, ME; his sister, Pam Hyland and husband Michael of Lincoln, NH; and his nieces and nephews.  

 A celebration of life will be at a later date.
