Joseph E. "Joey" Dallaire

Joseph E. “Joey” Dallaire, age 57, of Bedford, formerly of Maynard, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 29, 2024. 

Joey was born in Somerville, Massachusetts on December 6, 1966, son of the late Paul J. and Antoinette M. (Maillet) Dallaire. He was raised and educated in Maynard. Joey attended Reed Academy, Framingham, and Avalon School in Monterey, Massachusetts. 

Joey lived in Bedford, Massachusetts at a group home supported by Cooperative for Human Services Inc. for thirty years. He was a kindhearted and happy person with a good soul. Joey participated in the Special Olympics, loved walks with mother, Chinese food, music - the louder the better, visits with family, bowling like his dad, attending parades and walking on the treadmill. 

Joey is survived by his siblings, Denise Leach and husband Richard of Maynard, MA; Diane Emanuelson of Maynard, MA; Mark Dallaire and wife Tracey of Maynard, MA; Peter Dallaire and wife Linda of Maynard, MA; and many nieces and nephews. 

His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, December 5, 2024, at 10:00 am in St. Bridget's Church, One Percival St., Maynard. Burial will follow at St. Bridget's Cemetery, Maynard. In lieu of flowers the family would ask for a memorial donation to Cooperative for Human Services Inc. 24 Hartwell Ave, Lexington, MA 02421.
