John James Casey Jr.

John James Casey Jr. (Jack), age 69 of Marlborough, formerly of Maynard and Huntington Beach California, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 23, 2024. 

Jack was born in Arlington, Massachusetts on February 5, 1955, son of the late John J. Sr. and Virginia M. (Hogan) Casey. He was raised and educated in Maynard, graduating from Maynard High School, class of 1973. Jack enlisted in the United States Army and proudly served his country during the Vietnam War. He was discharged Honorably in 1976. 

Jack drove a truck for Dick Simon Trucking for many years, driving cross country. Jack also worked at Naval Weapons Station Seal Beach, Seal Beach, California.

Family was most important to Jack. He cherished time spent with his nieces and nephews. Jack enjoyed golfing and playing hockey. He coached with SMS Youth Hockey and helped with the Learn to Skate Program. 

Jack is survived by his siblings, Karen Corcoran and husband Jim of Sagamore Beach, MA; Paul Casey of Falmouth, MA; Joanne Pileeki and husband Bill of Maynard, MA; Mark Casey and wife Elizabeth of Burlington ,MA, Cindi Doucette and husband Brian of Maynard, MA.; his nieces and nephews, Casey, Jimi, Meghan, McKenzie, Nicholas, Ben, Jaclyn, Lauren, Sean, Patrick and 16 great nieces and nephews.
