Jane Ann (Slonina) Thomas

Jane Ann (Slonina) Thomas age 74 of Naples formerly of Maynard passed away on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at the Physicians Regional Medical Center in Naples, FL. She was the wife of Michael Thomas.

Born in Cambridge on July 2, 1939 she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Mary (Kulpinski) Slonina. Raised and educated in Cambridge, Jane graduated from Sacred Heart High School in 1957.

In 1962 she married Michael and soon settled in Maynard. She worked for many years as a bookkeeper.

A devoted wife and mother she enjoyed spending time with her family and playing golf. Upon retirement Jane and her husband Michael moved to Naples, FL.

Besides her husband she is survived by her children, Alexander Thomas of Virginia, Raymond Thomas and wife Julie of Worcester and Darren Thomas and wife Allison of Haverhill. Also survived by 6 grandchildren her brother Henry Slonina of Lowell and sister Helen Travers of Cambridge.

Visiting Hours, Thursday, April 24 from 4-8 pm in the Fowler-Kennedy Funeral Home, 42 Concord St., Maynard. Funeral Mass, Friday at 9:00 am in St. Bridget Parish, 1 Percival St., Maynard. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery, Maynard.
