James E. "Jimmy" Cossette

James E. "Jimmy" Cossette, age 59, of Milford, formerly of Maynard, passed away suddenly on Monday, January 13, 2020. Jimmy was the loving husband of Anne E. "Nancy" (Campbell) Cossette.

Jimmy was born in Winchester, Massachusetts on May 13, 1960. He was the son of Edward and Angela J. (Panzera) Cossette. He was raised and educated in Maynard and graduated from Maynard High School. Jimmy and Nancy married on July 21, 1994 and settled in Milford in 2001 and raised their family together. Jimmy worked as a carpenter for the New England Regional Council of Carpenters, Local 475 and also as a private contractor for forty years.

Family was utmost important to Jimmy. He loved his family and children. Jimmy cherished attending his children's sporting events over the years. He loved walking his dogs, cooking Italian food and sharing recipes with friends. He enjoyed his family trips to the beach. Jimmy was an avid Boston sports fan, following the New England Patriots, Red Sox, Bruins and Celtics. He also enjoyed playing golf.

Jimmy is survived by his wife, Anne E. "Nancy" Cossette of Milford, MA; his children, Meghan J. Cossette of Hanson, MA; Cameron J. Cossette, Cody J. Cossette, Daniel E. Cossette all of Milford; his mother, Angela Cossette-Lee and husband Robert Lee of Maynard; his father, Edward and wife Maxine Cossette of Bolton; his siblings, Kenneth J. Cossette of Brentwood, NH; Donna M. Cossette of Groton, MA; Kevin E. Cossette of Hudson, MA; his mother-in-law, Anne E. Campbell of Littleton, MA; his brother-in- law, John and wife Iryna Campbell of Berwick, ME; Jeffry Campbell of Nashua, NH; Francis DeLeo of Newbury, MA; Tim and Mercedes Campbell of Fairfax, VA; sister-in-law, Alison and husband Jack Tobin of Acton, MA. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Jimmy was predeceased by his sister-in-law Mary DeLeo, Laurie Cossette and father-in-law John Campbell.

Family and friends will gather to honor and remember Jimmy on Friday, January 17, 2020 from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at the Fowler-Kennedy Funeral Home, 42 Concord Street, Maynard. His funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, January 18, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. at Saint Bridget Parish, One Percival Street, Maynard. Burial will be private at a later date.
