In Loving Memory of Jackie
A Life of Faith, Family, and the Great Outdoors
Jacqueline “Jackie” M. (Fair) McGuire, beloved resident of Sudbury, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her devoted family on Friday, November 14, 2025, at the age of 95. She was the cherished wife of the late Arthur “Mike” G. McGuire, with whom she shared 57 wonderful years of marriage.
Born in Framingham, Massachusetts, on March 6, 1930, Jackie was the daughter of the late Ralph H. and Gertrude M. (Hallam) Fair. She was raised and educated in Framingham, graduating from Framingham Academy High School, with the class of 1947. Jacqueline married Arthur on December 31, 1950, the couple established their residence in Sudbury in 1956, where they remained longtime members of the community as their family grew.
Jackie is lovingly remembered by her children: Karen B. Reimann and her husband Paul Reimann of Maynard, MA; Paul McGuire and his wife Paula Kennedy-McGuire of Sudbury, MA; Annmarie McGuire of Marlborough, MA; and Patty Anderson of Hopkinton, MA. She was a proud grandmother to 10 grandchildren, great-grandmother to 5, and great-great-grandmother to 1, as well as a beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews. Jackie was predeceased by her husband Arthur “Mike” McGuire, and her sons Jack A. McGuire, Michael R. McGuire, and Jay E. McGuire.
For many years, Jackie worked as a group leader at Koler Manufacturing Company. She retired early, dedicating herself to caring for her son following an unforeseen accident—a reflection of her deep commitment to her family.
Jackie’s love for the outdoors was a defining aspect of her life. She found true joy tending to her lawn, nurturing her garden, and caring for her pool. These simple acts were more than just chores to her—they were expressions of her appreciation for nature’s beauty and tranquility. Whether under the sun or the gentle evening breeze, Jackie was in her element outdoors, always embracing the fresh air and the peacefulness of her surroundings.
Spending time with family brought Jackie immeasurable happiness. She cherished every cookout, special occasion, casual outdoor fire or getting together for the Patriots games. Her home and heart were always open, consistently filled with laughter, warmth, and the company of loved ones. Jackie’s life was a testament to the strength of family bonds and enduring friendships—she was never far from those she cared about most.
Jackie stood proudly by her friends, family, and her beliefs. Her faith was a constant source of comfort and strength, guiding her through life’s challenges and triumphs. As a devout Catholic and dedicated parishioner of Our Lady of Fatima Church; The Ascension Parish of Sudbury, Jackie lived her faith daily. She was actively involved with Small Group, Jump Start, and Divine Will, demonstrating her commitment to spiritual growth and community service.
Jackie’s devotion extended to her roles as a Pastoral Minister, Eucharistic Minister, Altar Server, and CCD Teacher. Through these positions, she touched the lives of many, inspiring them with her kindness, generosity, and unwavering faith. Her legacy of service and compassion will be remembered by all who knew her.
Jackie’s life was a beautiful blend of love outdoors, devotion to family and friends, and steadfast faith. She leaves behind a legacy of warmth, joy, and inspiration. Her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those she loved and served.
A Funeral Mass to honor Jackie’s life will be held on Thursday, December 4, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Church; The Ascension Parish of Sudbury, 160 Concord Road, Sudbury. Burial will follow at Old Town Cemetery in Sudbury.
