Helen M. (Westcott) Coady

Helen M. (Westcott) Coady, age 77, of Hudson, MA passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 16, 2021. She was the loving wife of the late Charles Joseph Coady Sr.

Helen was born in St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada, on December 16, 1943. Helen was raised and educated in St. John's. In 1965 Helen moved to America with her family, settling in Maynard, MA. Helen and Charles married April 18, 1981.

Helen worked for Digital Equipment Company as an electronic technician for many years following her semi-retirement in 1998. After leaving Digital she worked for Whole Foods in Sudbury retiring at age 67.

Family was most important to Helen. She loved spending her time with family and close friends, hosting holiday parties, going to bingo, spending time at Foxwoods with her sisters, and traveling to St. Johns, NFL.

Helen is survived by her son Philip Knowles and fiancé Kerrie of Marlborough, MA, Sonia Coady of Hudson, MA, James Coady and wife Patricia of Hudson, MA, her siblings Elizabeth and Lorraine of Canada, Luke Westcott of Florida, Mary Fuller of Rochester, NH, Joan Brown of Shirley, MA, Rhonda Duarte of Weymouth, MA, her 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter Lisa Knowles, Grandson Lucas Coady, and her siblings Shirley Barrington, Frank Westcott, France Martin, Barbara Westrich, Annie Bingle, and Wallace Westcott.
