Georgette M. (Richard) Foresta

Georgette M. (Richard) Foresta, age 68, of Maynard, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 3, 2023.

Georgette was born in Methuen, Massachusetts, on February 24, 1955, daughter of the late George J. and Helen (Trakimas) Richard.  She was raised and educated in Lawrence. 

Georgette worked for Market Basket for twenty years as a Deli Manager.

Family was most important to Georgette. She loved cooking for family and friends.  Georgette enjoyed her trips to the Casino and trying her luck at scratch tickets.  She was an avid San Francisco 49ers fan.  Georgette cherished time spent with her family in West Virginia and listening to Elvis Presley. 

Georgette is survived by her children Michael Foresta and wife Suzanne of Londonderry, NH; Lisa Feehan of Tewksbury, MA; Starr France and husband William of Maynard, MA; Matthew Foresta of Maynard, MA; her grandchildren Joshua, Christian, Samantha, Tyler, Ryan, Nicholas, Alexis and Parker; her siblings George Richard of Manchester, NH; Michael Richard and wife Debra of Methuen, MA; Robert Richard and wife Theresa of Lawrence, MA; David Richard and wife Anna of New Dover, NH; Deborah Shaw and partner Robert Chahine of Haverhill, MA; Shirley Richard of Florida; Barbara Richard of Holyoke, MA.  She was predeceased by her siblings Kathy Richard, Ray Richard, Ronald Richard, Sandra Richard and James Richard.     

Family and friends will gather to honor and remember Georgette on Saturday, August 19, 2023 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at the Fowler-Kennedy Funeral Home, 42 Concord Street, Maynard.
