Gail A. (Bemis) Grierson, age 74, of Acton, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 16, 2024. She was the loving wife of the late Edwin A. Grierson.

Gail is predeceased by her daughter Tracey L. Grierson. Survived by son Scott and his wife Karen of Townsend, MA, son Shawn and partner Julie Felton of Arlington, MA, grandsons Brandon, Andrew and Justin Grierson. Sister, Dawn of Dover-Foxcroft, ME. Brother Gregg of Ayer, MA. Brother John, and his wife Edith of Boxborough, MA, and nephews Brett and Matthew.

Gail was born in Concord, Massachusetts, on October 29, 1949, to the late Edward E. and Mary V. (Shackleton) Bemis. She was raised and educated in Maynard, graduating from Maynard High School, class of 1967.

Gail worked as a teacher's assistant for the Maynard School system for many years.

Gail enjoyed spending time with her pets, crocheting, going to the casino, being a Maynard Elks Member, and being an automobile enthusiast.

Family and friends will gather to honor and remember Gail on Friday, October 4, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at the Fowler-Kennedy Funeral Home, 42 Concord Street, Maynard. Her Graveside Service will be celebrated on, Saturday, October 5, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Glenwood Cemetery, Maynard.
