Frances C. (Hatch) O'Loughlin

Frances C. (Hatch) O’Loughlin, age 84, of Sudbury, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 10, 2024.  She was the loving wife of the late James F. O’Loughlin Jr.

Frances was born in New York City, New York, on September 1, 1939, daughter of the late Harold and Anna (Maglione) Hatch.   She was raised and educated in Sudbury, graduating from Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School, class of 1957.  Frances and James married in March of 1964 and settled in Sudbury to raise their family.

She worked as a receptionist in various doctors’ offices.

Frances enjoyed traveling.  She loved to travel with her husband and Sister Sue and her brother-in-law Tim.  In her youth Frances cherished her summers spent at Plum Island.

Frances is survived by her children, Barbara Valentini and husband James Schiavone of Charlton, MA; James F. O’Loughlin III and wife Joanne of Eliot, ME; her grandchildren, Christopher Valentini, Gina Valentini and Robert O’Loughlin; her great granddaughter, Jewelienna Valentini; her brother-in-law, Tim Belford; David and wife Sharon O’Loughlin.  Frances was predeceased by her siblings, Arvo Manninen, Harold Hatch and Sue Belford.  

A service will be held in the spring.
