Elsie G. (Wise) Toner, 84, of Maynard, passed away on Saturday, February 10, 2018. She was the loving wife of the late Edmond C. Toner.
Born in Banbury, England on December 13, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Kathleen Bertha (Palmer) Wise. Elsie was raised and educated in Banbury, England. Elsie moved to the United States in 1973 and settled in Maynard.
Elsie enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In her younger years she enjoyed gardening. She also loved playing bingo and knitting.
She is survived by her daughter Christine J. and husband Paul C. Siegfriedt of Maynard; grandchildren, Deborah and husband Rob Greenwood of Dedham, Donna and husband Sean Leone of Holliston, Michelle Ketcherside of Goshen; great-grandchildren, Samual Siegfriedt-Greenwood, Harrison C. Leone, Peyton F. Leone, Benjamin P. Greenwood, Jillian M. Greenwood, Juliette R. Leone, Robin P. Ketcherside, Walker S. Leone and Riley J. Ketcherside; and her sister Ruth F. Cowley of England. Elsie was predeceased by her siblings; Ronald Palmer, Thomas Wise and Kathleen R. Savings.
Family and friends will gather to honor and remember Elsie on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 from 1:00-4:00p.m at the Fowler-Kennedy Funeral Home, 42 Concord Street, Maynard.
