Elizabeth "Betty" M. (Goddard) Milon

Elizabeth “Betty” M. (Goddard) Milon, age 77, formerly of Maynard, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 1, 2023. She was the loving wife of the late Dennis G. Milon. 

Betty was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, on January 25, 1946, daughter of the late Joseph W. and Ruth F. (Buchanan) Goddard.  She was raised and educated in Cambridge.  Betty and Dennis married in 1976 and moved to Maynard in 1981 to raise their family. 

Betty worked as a bus driver for Case Transportation for many years.  She cherished the relationships with the students she drove to school.   

Betty was an avid Green Bay Packers fan.  She had a passion for animals, especially dogs. 

Betty is survived by her son, Scott Christopher Milon of Lunenburg, MA; her siblings, Clair Goddard of Arlington, MA; Mildred Goddard of Arlington, MA; John Goddard of Arlington, MA. 

Family and friends will gather to honor and remember Betty on Tuesday, October 10, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the Fowler-Kennedy Funeral Home, 42 Concord Street, Maynard. Her graveside service will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Bridget’s Cemetery Great Road, Maynard.
