Eileen Sinicki passed away on July 15th at the age of 97. She lived her entire life in Maynard, where she met and married her high school sweetheart, Alphonse Sinicki. They enjoyed 64 happy years together until his death in 2010.
In her 20s and 30s, Eileen enjoyed rowing crew, dancing at the Totem Pole and was an early employee at Digital Computer Company where she worked for 25 years. After she retired, her favorite way to spend the day was to walk the mall and then go out to lunch with her family. She also enjoyed sitting on her back deck, admiring her daughter, Joyce's, garden. Whenever she could, she made the trip to Foxwoods Casino.
Eileen was predeceased by her sisters, Doris Krachune and Lucille Anderson. She will be missed and remembered by her daughter, Joyce; son and daughter-in-law, Ron and Lisa Sinicki; granddaughter, Lindsey Maddox and husband Shawn Maddox. Eileen will also be remembered by her nieces Sandra Marston, Shirley Konicki, and grand-niece Tammy Coleman who lovingly helped care for her during her final months.
Family and friends will gather to honor and remember Eileen on Thursday, July 22, 2021, from 9:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. at the Fowler-Kennedy Funeral Home, 42 Concord Street, Maynard. Her funeral mass will be celebrated following the visitation at 11:00 a.m. in St. Bridget's Parish 1 Percival Street, Maynard. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery, Maynard.
