Donna Lee Trefry

Donna Lee Trefry, 66, of Stow, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 26, 2025.

Donna was born in Concord, MA on March 3, 1959, daughter of the late Douglas V. and Elizabeth J. (Stokes) Trefry. She had many lifelong challenges including deafness. That didn’t hold her back; she learned to lip read as a young child. She was raised and educated in Stow, graduating from Nashoba Regional High School, class of 1978.

Donna worked for a variety of businesses before becoming the receiver at the Mass Audubon shop in Lincoln 15 years ago, a job that she took much pride in and enjoyed until her passing.

Donna relished spending time with family, friends and her cherished beagle Daisy. Donna also enjoyed caring for her flowers, growing her own vegetables, quilting and reading.

Donna is survived by her brother, Bruce (Darlene) Trefry of Stow, MA, her sister, Karen (Brian) Collins of Glenville, NY, and she will also be remembered and missed by cousins, nephews, great nieces and friends.

A graveside service will be celebrated on Friday, September 5, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at Brookside Cemetery, 36 Gleasondale Road, Stow, MA.

In lieu of flowers gifts in her memory may be made to the American Heart Association.
