Donna M. (Zanelli) Foss

Donna M. (Zanelli) Foss, age 71, of Shirley, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 15, 2025. She was the loving wife of Donald A. Foss Jr.

Donna was born in Athol, Massachusetts, on October 17, 1954, daughter of the late Alfred J. Zanelli and Francis M. Butcher. She was raised and educated in Littleton, graduating from Littleton High School, class of 1972. Donna and Donald married on March 10, 1995, in Florida during Daytona bike week.

Donna worked as a housekeeper for New England Deaconess in Concord for thirty-two years and Belmont Manor, retiring in 2022.

Donna enjoyed camping and hiking with her son’s boy scout unit. She cherished her motorcycle rides with close friends. Donna also enjoyed baking, cooking and doing ceramics. She loved visiting family in Vermont. Donna was like a second mother to the Braciska children.

Donna is survived by her husband, Donald A. Foss Jr. of Shirley, MA; her son, William “Will” James Foss of Shirley, MA; and her cousin, April Deleo-Flagg of FL.

Donna’s Graveside Service will be celebrated on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at 11:30 p.m. at Glenwood Cemetery, 260 Great Road, Maynard 01754.
