David Joseph Baczkowski (Dave), age 39, of Hudson, MA passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 29th. Dave is survived by his fiancée, Bethany Tobia, and their two children, Davie and Will, his parents, Dave and Sharon, his brother, Nick, sister-in-law, Lauren, and niece, Hailey Baczkowski. He will be incredibly missed by his aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents.
Dave worked in the construction industry. He grew to love the trade after working many years with his father. Dave was always up for a good demolition and loved to build a project from the ground up. He was a talented carpenter who had a keen eye to solve problems and the patience to tackle tricky projects.
In high school and college, Dave excelled on the hockey rink and football field. Sports were Dave’s passion. He was an avid Bruins and Patriots fan, sharing this love with his children.
Above all else, Dave was a true family man. He loved golf Sundays with his father and brother and looked forward to lobster boils with his family. Dave was always happiest when his family was together. The love he had for his fiancée and two children was immeasurable. The second he came home from work, he couldn’t wait to play make believe, dance in the kitchen, or build Legos with his sons. Davie and he were two peas in a pod- fishing together, doing yard work, or working on a project with Daddy’s tools. His boys enjoyed every minute with their Daddy. He will be missed terribly.
Family and friends will gather to honor and remember Dave on Monday, December 4, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00p.m. at the Fowler-Kennedy Funeral Home, 42 Concord Street, Maynard. Burial will be private.
