Blanche (Slabysz) Lombard

Blanche Lombard, age 97 and longtime resident of Maynard MA, died peacefully on August 8, 2015 at Walden Nursing home in Concord, MA. She was preceded in death by her husband Anthony and is survived by her son Dennis of Carlsbad, CA; her daughter Karen and son-in-law Ed Romain of Vista, CA and her grandson Michael.

All that knew her will remember her for the love of the polka and her singing along with her husband Tony while he played the harmonica. She really enjoyed working at Emerson Hospital and became friends with a lot of people there. She will be greatly missed by her family.

A funeral mass will be held at St. Bridget's church in Maynard, Friday Sept. 11 at 9:00 am followed by burial at St Bridget's cemetery.
