Barbara A. (Kulesa) Mullally

Barbara A. (Kulesa) Mullally, age 80, of Maynard, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 3, 2024.

Barbara was born in Greenfield, Massachusetts, on March 28, 1944, daughter of the late Albin and Nelly (Pelosky) Kulesa. She was raised in Greenfield and graduated from Greenfield High School. Upon graduation, Barbara continued her education at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital School of Nursing. Barbara worked for thirty years as a nursing professional. 

Barbara started her own daycare at her home at 4 Woodridge Road in Maynard in 1979, serving many Maynard families over the years.

Family was most important to Barbara. She cherished time spent with her grandchildren. Barbara was a proud hockey mom and enjoyed watching her sons play hockey. Barbara was also an avid Boston Bruins fan. She loved attending family reunions in Greenfield, reading books and going to the beach.

Barbara is survived by her children, Thomas Mullally and wife Kim of Myrtle Beach, SC; Timothy Mullally of Maynard, MA; Brian Mullally and wife Lynne of Nashua, NH; Kim Foley and husband Chuck of Concord, MA; her cherished grandchildren, Lily Foley, Avery Mullally and Addison Mullally. Barbara was predeceased by her siblings, Joey Kulesa, Billy Kulesa and Mary Bosma. 

Family and friends will gather to honor and remember Barbara on Monday, December 16, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at the Fowler-Kennedy Funeral Home, 42 Concord Street, Maynard. Funeral Service and burial will be private
