Barbara Ann Clark age 80 passed away on Thursday, February 26, 2015 at the Southern Plains Alzheimer's Special Care Center in Tulsa, OK. She was the beloved wife of the late James Leo Clark.
Born in Acton, MA on June 19, 1934 she was the daughter of the late Irene Young and her husband the late George LaRosee.
Barbara attended Maynard High School and finished her education at Oklahoma State University earning a Ph.D. in Applied Behavioral Studies. Her professional occupation was a psychologist both in the Oklahoma school systems and then in private practice in Massachusetts.
Barbara and her family resided in Stow, MA for many years, she then relocated to Tulsa, OK with her husband and then returned and settled in Hudson, MA. Upon the death of her husband she moved back to Tulsa, OK to be closer to her family.
During her spare time and retirement she enjoyed spending time with her loving family, reading, gardening, listening to music and watching sports. She also cherished many good times at their lake house in Ashburnham, MA.
Survivors include her children, Jennifer Reynolds and her husband Greg of Tulsa, OK, Tim Clark and wife Mary of Mendon, MA and Jason Clark of San Diego, CA. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Family and friends will gather to honor and remember Barbara on Friday, March 6th from 9:30 – 11:00 am followed by a service in the Fowler-Kennedy Funeral Home, 42 Concord St. in Maynard. A reception will be held after the service at the Wedgewood Country Club, 215 Harvard Rd. in Stow. Interment in Brookside Cemetery, Stow will be private.
