Allen D. Carmo, aged 60, recently of Maynard, formerly of Woburn, passed away suddenly at home on Friday February 14, 2025. 

He leaves behind his two families, wife Cheryl Carmo and son David Carmo of Methuen and longtime companion, Veronica Donahue and son Christopher Carmo of Maynard. Allen also leaves behind 3 stepchildren, Douglas Nading, Michael Donahue and Kathryne Donahue. He was also Pipa to 3 grandsons, Isaac Nading, Tahryn Nading and Richard Kascus. Allen also leaves his brother Albert Carmo of Ayer, his sister-in-law Deborah Blouin, niece and nephew, Kelsie and Jared Blouin of Methuen, and Erin Blouin of Cambridge. He is predeceased by his parents Albert and Alice (Moore) Carmo. 

When not working as a milk delivery driver, and warehouse manager, Allen liked to camp and fish, taking great pleasure in an annual camping trip with his two sons. Of particular pride was the time that Allen served in the Massachusetts Army National Guard with the 1058 Transportation Company. Allen retired from the Guard having risen to the rank of Specialist. He did two tours of Iraq, as well as being a part of the National Guard units that protected the 2002 Winter Olympics in Utah, as well as assisting with border patrol between California and Mexico. 

Family and friends will gather to honor and remember Allen on Friday, February 21, 2025, from 4:00 pm- 7:00 pm at Fowler-Kennedy Funeral Home, 42 Concord Street, Maynard, MA. His Funeral Service will be held at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne, Massachusetts on Monday, February 24, 2025, with the ceremony starting at 12:30 p.m.
